Mega director Shankar’s upcoming multi-starrer film casting Vijay, Jiiva, Srikanth, Ileana in the leads is set for a release for Pongal 2012. Now, the makers are planning to launch the audio of the film in December. Just like the original, this 3-idiots Tamil remake will have 5 songs in the film.
The lead cast will be seen as college students while Sathyaraj will essay the role of college head. Ileana will be seen as Vijay’s love interest in the movie. The entire shooting has been wrapped and the post-production works are progressing at a brisk pace. Also the dubbing works has almost been completed.
Produced by Gemini Film Circuit, Nanban has music by Harris Jayraj and cinematography by Manoj Paramahamsa. Nanban will simultaneously be released in Tamil and Telugu versions.
