Silambarasan’s Osthi is yet again postponed to December 8. The film which was supposed to release on 2nd December will now hit the big-screens on the 8th of the month. Dharani has directed the movie.
It is known that Osthi is the remake of Salman Khan’s blockbuster hit Dabangg and Richa Gangopadhyay has stepped into Sonakshi’s shoes for reprising her role as the leading lady. Snu Sood will be seen as a baddie while Mallika Sherawat will set the screens on fire with a hot item number.
Produced by Ramesh and Mohan Apparao under the banner of Balaji Real Media, Osthi has music by Thaman. Kural TV Creation Pvt Ltd, a firm run by Simbu's family is releasing Osthi in Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Kerala and the makers are planning to release it in the large number of screens.
