Their November releases Marubhoomi Katha and Venicile Vyapari have been now confirmed as Christmas releases.
The strike in the Malayalam film industry will be over in the next few days. The theatre owners has already withdrawn their strike and has also announced that from November 25, they will be screening new films.
Meanwhile producers of Marubhoomi Katha and Venicile Vyapari have made it clear that they would prefer a Christmas release, as the Ayappa season and semester examinations are in full swing. The theatres too say Christmas would be a better date to release new Malayalam films.
Taking everything into consideration Seven Arts who are Distributing Marubhoomi Katha have booked theatres from December 16, and Murali Movies the distributors of Venicile Vyapari have agreed to come a week later on December 23.
sources close to both the superstars are also happy that both the films will not clash and they will have a Christmas release. All is well that ends well.
